I got tagged...
The first player of this game starts with the "7 weird things/habits about him/herself" and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 7 weird (or unique) habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end you need to choose the 7 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "You are tagged" in their comments and tell them to read your blog! (tagged by

1) I have never smoked, done drugs, drank alcohol or coffee. [
Lifetime drinking alcohol consumption < 2 servings. All others 0.0]
2) Now that I have prescription sunglasses, I no longer wear non-tinted glasses. This is regardless of indoor/outdoor and lighting conditions.
3) At 26 years old, I own 6 suit jackets and zero concurrent pairs of jeans (technically I still have some in my "fat box" with waists 4-6 inches too big). When leaving the house, I wear one of my "formal" vests more often than not, regardless of destination (including the grocery store).
4) I recently learned that prenatal (in the womb) testosterone exposure not only has a significant impact on brain development, and that there is a direct corelation between prenatal testosterone exposure and the relative length of index finger to ring finger (in men). In other words, the shorter a man's index finger, relative to their ring finger, the more testosterone has influenced their brain (and cardiovascular) development.
No, I'm not making this up. According to the show I was watching last night, a 6mm difference indicates high levels of prenatal testosterone. Mine is literally a full centimeter, and if the research is to be believed, this may partially explain my strong spatial awareness and my almost 'mechanical' emotional distance and all that stereotypical "male-brain" stuff, and even my natural aptitude for running. Not that I AM a good runner, because I am way out of shape for that, but there are a lot of signs that I could have been an amazing runner had I concentrated on training that capacity during my formative years.
5) I suffered from a mild manifestation of Tourettes syndrome when I was younger. This was nothing compared to anyone who even considered taking the medication, and I largely grew out of it, but being a complexe neurochemical imbalance, thinking about it actually triggers some of my old symptoms.
6) Crap. I shouldn't have thought about it. [
twitches wrist bizarrely until producing a popping noise. Ten seconds later, does it again. Must... stop... talking about it...]
7) I have a strong degree of (rather misplaced) empathy for video game bosses. Rugal from King of Fighters is one of the best ever; he gets a lot of points for:
(A) having a move called
Genocide Cutter;
(B) actually shouting "Genocide Cutter" more-or-less intelligibly when he does it; and
(C) spamming the move at every concievable opportunity. Cause he likes to shout "Genocide Cutter". And cut you in half with his foot.
But I do not feel the need to tag anyone else.
Current Mood:
aaarrgh! Friggin Tourettes!!
