8:20a	The wind in my face... So yesterday, we're walking home after picking up some extra stuff for my girlfriend's new job (yay better job... now I just need my better job to come through), and we found ourselves being lightly sandblasted by the wind for half the trip home. It was strong enough to slow us down and at times to blow my leather trenchcoat straight out, but it sucked. Now we live on the border between residential and light commercial zoning and, like, a railroad. But we aren't accustomed to the air being colored by dust, with tiny rock-like particles hitting us in the face and feeling sandy grit when I clench my teeth. The sidewalks are all covered in sand from the winter spreading (or dumping, it looks like now that the snow has melted). This is mid-to-northern Ontario. We're not supposed to have sandstorms. Not good. So anyway, CNN spent all day on the Pope, then in the Democratic debate (which I missed), apparently the 'moderator-chosen-questions' focused mainly on all the stupid things the candidates have said and faux-pas they have made over the campaign... not very useful, when the objective is to WIN the general election. 10:52p	NEW LOOK FOR agc.deskslave.org I finally made the big site update I've been wanting to make. There are obvious changes to the layout of the site, much nicer navigation bars, and a lot of the random stuff has been consolidated (and better organized) on a page called... random stuff. Go ahead and let me know what you think. The biggest change is probably the AGC comic archives... instead of the old dumb page, there are now Next/Prev buttons and the ability to jump to a specific comic by typing the number in the box. Of course, to do this I've had to renumber the comics, which means that (after a short transition period), the old links (ex: agc.deskslave.org/comics/AGC26-9.html) will stop working. The comics now have simple numbers, and are addressed in this format: Anyway, I'll probably be updating the Excerpts in a similar fashion soon, but I'm sure I'll have a lot of bugs to track down in the meantime. In the meantime, enjoy today's comic too! AGC #348: Let the Wookie Win EDIT: Oh yeah, you may notice that a few of the comics have "author's notes" underneath. While I set it up to allow me to do that, don't go nuts looking for them because I've only done three or four near the beginning. That's something I'll probably fill in gradually over time.
